Auditions have been going so well! I'm impressed by the courage and talent you all bring to the theatre. Casting is going to be a tough choice!
Today is the last chance for auditions. Although today is officially listed as a callback, it's completely different from traditional callbacks. I know some of your weren't happy with your audition, whether because you were so nervous or fighting a cold or whatever. Today is a chance to re-do any part of your audition. That said, no one really needs to re-do anything. You all did a great job and I'm impressed with how each of you put yourself in the spotlight. Opening up to an audience -- even an audience of one -- is not easy!
Just so you know, re-doing your audition just for the sake of being in front of me isn't going to gain you any brownie points. Only sign up if you feel like you really didn't do your best.
Also, if you have a friend who wanted to audition but was too nervous, tell them it's not too late.
Last, but not least, if you haven't turned in your BC Applause Production Info and Contract form, it's technically due today, but you can turn it in to the office on Monday. I must have the form in order to finalize your audition.
Auditions for Wonderland High start next week! There are three pieces of advice I've heard over and over again at auditions I've sat through:
