Show Blacks

For the performances, everyone (cast and crews) must wear all black. That means black shirt, black pants, black socks, and black shoes (no white laces). If you don't have black, then dark navy blue can be worn -- the darker the better. If your black shirt has a logo or other design, you can turn it inside out. If your mostly black shoes have a spot of color, we can cover it with black gaff tape and we'll have black paracord if you need to swap out your laces.

My go-to for shopping these days is Amazon so it's delivered right to my door, Here are some options I found that can be delivered within the next few days:

• Black jazz shoes ($13.29) or women's black canvas sneakers ($10.79) or men's black canvas sneakers ($19.19)
• Black tank-top ($14.20 for a pack of two)
• Men's Running Shorts ($15.99) or Men's Black Athletic Pants ($19.90) or Boys Sweatpants ($14.43) or Women's Bike Shorts ($6.03) or Women's Black Leggings ($7.50) or Girls Sweatpants ($10.00)

Target has black tank tops for about $6 and girls leggings for $10. Walmart has jazz shoes for $20 and black sweatpants ranging from $6 to $20.

It's hit or miss, but you can also find black clothing at Kohl's, TJ Maxx or Ross. And my new favorite place for really inexpensive clothes and fabric is Jomar's down on Whitaker Avenue in Philly. (There's also a Ross and a Walmart right next door.)
