Set Construction Starts on Saturday!

It’s time to get started on the set and we need anyone who is interested in construction, drawing, or painting – parents and students! Here’s the planned schedule:

• Saturday, Jan. 11th - backdrop and light hanging by tech directors; get out set pieces and platforms from storage; put together platforms; begin building set pieces.
• Sunday, Jan. 12th - light hanging by tech directors; continue building set pieces; get furniture from storage; start sketching props.
• Saturday, Jan. 25th - continue building set-pieces, as needed; more sketching and begin painting
• Saturday, Feb. 1st - finish set-pieces; painting, painting, painting
• Sunday, Feb. 2nd – lots more painting
• Saturday, Feb. 8th – more painting
• Saturday, Feb. 22nd - finishing touches (if needed)

 Set construction is basically "whatever time you can give is appreciated." The auditorium is scheduled for 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on our construction days. If you can come all day, awesome! If you can come for an hour, that's great, too! The set isn't going to be too complicated for this show but there’s still a LOT to do. Everyone is welcome to help out – regardless of whether you’re cast or crew – and power tools are definitely welcome!
