Running out of rehearsals...

I know many of you have been sick this last week but I wanted to take a moment to let you know why it’s really, really important for you to attend all the rehearsals that you’re scheduled to attend:

Each scene has only six – yes 6! – rehearsals between now and dress rehearsal!

That means we have six chances to finish the blocking, the singing, the dances, the acting, and have everything memorized. Our deadline to be off-book is February 18th. I know it sounds far away, but it’s only five weeks.
Please keep this in mind as you’re prioritizing your weekly activities. We need everyone to attend rehearsals in order to put on the best show possible.

Today's Rehearsal: Scenes 6, 7, 8, 12

Today, Jan. 14th, we'll be working on Scenes 6, 7, 8 and 12. Here is who should come to rehearsal:

• Kids: Alice, Grace, Jess
• Teachers: Headmaster, Mr. Gruntt, Miss Stoker, Dr. Goole, Frau Rammstein
• Big Brenda and the Brendettes
• Miley and Sam
• Brenda Jr. and Young Headmaster

 We’ll work on the following songs:

• She Played Guitar (Alice and Jess)
• The Adventurer's Code (Sam and Alice)
• It's Your Time (Big Brenda)
• Headmaster's Soliloquy (Headmaster & Young Headmaster)

Big Kids and New Kids will be needed for these scenes but not today since we can’t do any blocking while the stage is set up for the Cynwyd choir concert.

​Tech Crew is also meeting today with Mr. John and Mrs. Darlene.
