We could really use some help finishing up the set. If you can help during any after school rehearsal, during dress rehearsal on Feb. 25th (11:00-4:00), or during our last set construction on Mar. 2nd (11:00-3:00), we'd really appreciate it!

So the reason there's no set construction on Saturday, Feb. 24th, is that I'll be in Boston for my daughter's performance in the play These Shining Lives.

Thank you to Mr. John, Penelope, Liu, Jonas, Jonas' mom Jennie and sister Mila, Yael, Yael's sister Tif, and Javi for helping out at set construction today! We got a lot done.

​What does it mean to bring your A-Game?

• Bringing your A-Game means to bring your maximum effort, focus, and commitment to rehearsal. 

​Why is it important?

• It maximizes our ability to get things done.

Why do we need to get things done?

• As of Feb. 8, there are five rehearsals until Off Book – which means no scripts on stage. And we only have 9 rehearsals left to finish all blocking and choreography. Anything not finished will probably not be in the show.

​Specific A-Game Actions

• ​Be the first to get to your place when called for a scene. Try to be there before everyone else.
• Tell one person “good job” when you see them working hard. Everyone needs encouragement, especially when learning something new.
• If there’s something you want to talk about but it’s not what the cast is working on, put it on the Parking Lot board. It can be anything – even something you want to talk to your friends about at break.
• Practice your lines, songs, or choreography when you have down time during rehearsal. And get your friends to practice with you!
