Here are the details about this weekend: School Preview for 6th Grade Friday, Nov. 1st As soon as you arrive at school, check in with your 1st Period teacher and then come to the auditorium. I sent a list of your names to all the teachers so they know you'll be leaving class. We'll get into costumes and mics but no make-up. The preview itself starts at 10:00 AM. Opening Night Friday, Nov. 1st, call time at 5:00 PM Doors open at 7:00 PM for the audience, curtain at 7:30 PM Be sure to bring:
Closing Night Saturday, Nov. 2nd, call time at 5:00 PM Doors open at 7:00 PM for the audience, curtain at 7:30 PM Be sure to bring the same things you brought for Opening Night. Set Strike & Pizza Party Sunday, Nov. 3rd, 12:00 PM After we take the set apart and put everything away, we'll celebrate our theatrical success with pizza. I'm so very proud of each and everyone one of you. You've worked hard the last six weeks and it shows. We're going to have a great time this weekend! See you in the morning... Mrs. Knight I am so excited for the cast and crew! They have done a fabulous job. Dress rehearsal went as smoothly as these things do, backdrop falling and tripping over set pieces notwithstanding. Today we have a dress rehearsal for the Play Preview on Friday morning. We'll be doing four scenes for the 6th graders, to help build excitement for the show.
Tomorrow is our fun run. No tech or costumes but all cast and crew are welcome to attend. We're going to have a blast! Friday and Saturday are The Days! All cast and crew should arrive at 5:00 PM. Doors open for the audience at 7:00 PM. It's so exciting! I can't wait for you all to see what the kids have accomplished! Hamlet Dress Rehearsal is tomorrow, Sunday, Oct. 27th! Rehearsal will last until 4:00 PM. Note: If you haven't spoken with me about missing dress rehearsal and you don't show up, you will NOT be allowed to be in the show. We'll be focusing on sound, lights, and transitions tomorrow. Be ready to run the show many, many times!
